A suspended bulb, a cabin, two mics…
Once upon a time there was friendship, cruelty and a taste for metamorphosis.
Two bodies and seven voices serving three philosophical tales. Three scenes loom over a minimalist and coloured stage design. An electro-pop score lingers, on which the oscillation of the movements meets the rhythm of the word. Tales and dancing are byways that lead you to ask yourself existential questions which clear your mind and delve into your feelings.
Ten years after Game Over, a show mainly aimed at teenagers, Paul les Oiseaux and its choreographer Valérie Rivière decided to target a young audience. They planned to respond to an emergency after the blast of 2015. Minute Papillon banks on combining dancing, tales and philosophy in order to start thinking about fixing the world from early childhood. The first tale was written by Timothée de Fombelle, a creative and keen author, specialized in young people’s literature. It is his fourth work in collaboration with the company.
